Looney Tunes – Coyote Falls (HQ 1080p!)

Yes you read well, Coyote Falls in 1080p!

Just found this by random and couldn’t resist to share this with you guys! I don’t know if it’s a test or if Coyote Falls is gonna come back on our screen in super great quality for real but that would be awesome for nowadays kids! I used to be a big fan of this show when I was a kid and it’s great to see that they managed to keep the great substance and humor of it in this new graphic version all reshaped with our current animation technologies.. Enjoy and have fun kids! ;)

Magick Mountain – One For My Ego

Visual explosion! Magick Mountain shows you their trippy mind…

Here is a quiet well… trippy video for this track “One For My Ego” by Magick Mountain. Some pieces of the video seem to be in 3D anamorphic but I’m not sure if it’s just been made to give a certain style to the video or if it’s real anamorphic 3D. I’ll try that with my red/cyan glasses as soon as I’m back home ;) In the mean time, you can try and tell me!

Magik Mountain is from New York and under The Pop Manifesto label.

Directed by Aaron Katsnelson.

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore

A beautiful film by Moonbot Studios..

Poetic and poignant, here are the two words which come to me to describe this film. A really impressive piece of art!

Inspired, in equal measures, by Hurricane Katrina, Buster Keaton, The Wizard of Oz, and a love for books, “Morris Lessmore” is a story of people who devote their lives to books and books who return the favor.

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore is a poignant, humorous allegory about the curative powers of story. Using a variety of techniques (miniatures, computer animation, 2D animation) award winning author/ illustrator William Joyce and Co-director Brandon Oldenburg present a hybrid style of animation that harkens back to silent films and M-G-M Technicolor musicals. “Morris Lessmore” is old fashioned and cutting edge at the same time.

And if you want to know more about the project don’t miss the making of.

Strange Arrangements

Beautiful piece of Art…

This video is truly beautiful. Produced by the agency Weareseventeen (London), the audio and music is by Radium Audio (London) who are well-known for their amazing sound design performance.

I’ve added as well the making of which is also very conceptual and a great video to watch.

Alan Warburton – Format: A Brief History of Data Storage

Did you know a punchcard could only store 1 text message?!

An abridged history of removable data storage. Love the style, great motion graphic! I wish there were more storage covered to have a longer video! A beautiful work directed by Alan Warburton and made with After Effects, Maya and Photoshop.

Music: Fringe Element (Short Like Me Edit) by Beni.
